Interim dean for College of Arts and Sciences finalist presentations announced

The search committee announces three finalists who will interview for the interim dean of the College of Arts and Sciences position and invites you to attend the open forums presented by each candidate.
- Michael Young, professor of psychological sciences and Office of Institutional Research and Assessment faculty fellow, will interview Wednesday, June 8. The open forum will be from 1:30-2:30 p.m. in the Bluemont Room in the K-State Student Union.
- Chris Culbertson, professor of chemistry and associate dean for research and graduate studies in the College of Arts and Sciences, will interview Thursday, June 9. The open forum will be from 1:30-2:30 p.m. in the Bluemont Room in the K-State Student Union.
- Andy Bennett, professor and head of the mathematics department, will interview Friday, June 10. The open forum will be from 1:30-2:30 p.m. in the Bluemont Room in the K-State Student Union.
K-Staters are encouraged to review the application materials and attend each open forum and Q&A session titled, “Leading the College of Arts and Sciences During a Time of Change: Opportunities and Challenges.”
Application materials and itinerary for each candidate are available on the provost's search website. Please be prepared to enter your K-State eID and password to access the information. For those unable to attend in person, the open forums will be streamed live and archived on the provost’s search website. There will also be an online candidate feedback survey on that website. Each feedback survey will close at 5 p.m. two days following each candidate’s open forum and the presentation will be removed from the website at that time.
Verbal or written feedback on the candidates may also be directed to members of the search committee. Please provide feedback no later than Sunday, June 12.
