Submitted by Adriana M. Ortiz Aquino
K-State's chapter of the Society for the Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science, a departmental student organization, is looking for students and faculty who are interested in presenting their research to a diverse audience of students, faculty, principal investigators and postdoctoral researchers as part of the second annual Donuts and Research Series.
The sessions are tentatively planned for October, and more information on specific dates will come in the following weeks.
This series was created to display an eclectic array of research from all STEM fields. Outcomes of attending or presenting at the events can include:
- A chance to practice your presentation for an upcoming conference or meeting
- Constructive feedback in a positive environment
- Share and learn exciting research opportunities at K-State from others
If you are interested in giving a 10-minute talk about your research, please fill out the interest form here by Sept. 30.
