Collaborative Communication for Supervisors offered Oct. 25

Collaborative Communication for Supervisor will be offered from 8-10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25, in the K-State Alumni Center Banquet Room C.
The session focuses on communication and decision-making, highlighting ways that communication can facilitate or hinder collaborative decision-making practices in the workplace.
The session will help participants:
- Identify and practice effective listening, dialogue and decision-making techniques.
- Identify and analyze common communication barriers to navigate conflicts in the workplace.
- Apply techniques and strategies to become more skilled in interpersonal communication.
You must be a current supervisor of university support staff or unclassified professionals to attend this session. The session is offered in conjunction with the K-State Supervisory Foundations Pillar I: Establishing Your Supervisory Foundation certificate program. Seating is limited.
