Outstanding Contribution to Collegiate Roller Hockey award presented to K-State coach Jerry Remsbecker
The National Collegiate Roller Hockey Association has presented an Outstanding Contribution to College Roller Hockey award to Jerry Remsbecker, head coach and faculty adviser to the K-State team. The award honors a player, coach or staff member from each of the association’s member organizations who best exemplifies leadership qualities on and off the rink and has made a noteworthy contribution to the advancement of collegiate roller hockey.
Remsbecker was selected by the Great Plains Collegiate Inline Hockey League for his efforts over the last 10 plus years.
Through Remsbecker's efforts, and that of the K-State club leadership, the university's Inline Hockey Club has provided recreational, competitive and leadership opportunities to many student athletes on campus and represented the university well at the 2012 and 2013 National Collegiate Roller Hockey championships.
