Johnson Cancer Research Center award application deadline is noon Oct. 3
The Johnson Cancer Research Center award applications are due at noon Monday, Oct. 3.
The undergraduate awards are applicable for STEM and non-STEM students. Awardees will perform and work on cancer research, discovery projects and will receive their $2,000 award in the late spring semester. Students must have a research lab and faculty mentor to apply for the award.
Faculty members of the Johnson Cancer Research Center are also eligible to apply for innovative research awards, travel awards and sponsor applications for students as well.

The Johnson Cancer Research Center supports the innovative and collaborative research of its faculty members in 20 departments across five colleges, as well as the training of their undergraduate and graduate students and postdoctoral fellows. The center, which is part of Kansas State University's College of Arts and Sciences, supports and advances cancer research, education and outreach. Its awards are funded by private donations.
