K-State Libraries employees recognized at Summer Institute on Distance Learning and Instructional Technology
Two K-State Libraries employees, Tara Coleman and Jeff Sheldon, were presented with Colleague to Colleague awards this summer at the Summer Institute on Distance Learning and Instructional Technology.
Coleman, program services coordinator, received the Outstanding Technical Support Staff Award, which recognizes a person who best exemplifies customer service and outstanding performance in assisting faculty and students with operational and technical support in the delivery of distance learning.
Sheldon, associate director of the Sunderland Foundation Innovation Lab, received the Jonathon Bacon Outstanding Leadership Award. This recognition is given to a person who has set organizational direction or climate to create an innovative, technology-based student-centered learning-oriented climate and promotes diverse ideas among faculty and students to enhance a culture of technology usage.
