Harris to speak at Carl R. Ice College of Engineering’s sixth annual Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Summit
The Multicultural Engineering Program student advisory board and the Carl R. Ice College of Engineering have partnered to host the sixth annual Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Summit from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1, in 1107 Fiedler Hall.
Kristen Harris, vice president of enterprise diversity and inclusion, Hallmark Cards Inc., will serve as the event's keynote speaker, presenting on allyship. Harris has more than 15 years of leadership experience at Hallmark Cards, building business partnerships with customers and within the community.
She has spent her career developing highly effective teams, leading through business transformation, creating strategies to promote accountability and driving engagement through culture change initiatives.
In addition to the keynote address, the evening will feature a Q&A with Harris, a panel discussion and breakout sessions with a meal from Olive Garden. Students, faculty and staff must RSVP to attend.
