Psychological sciences faculty receives award and grant
Mary Cain, associate professor of psychological sciences, received a $436,000 grant from the National Institute for Drug Abuse titled "The effects of differential rearing on glutamate homeostasis and addiction."
Cain also received an award from APA Division 6, the Clifford T Morgan Distinguished Service Award. This award recognizes members of Division 6 who have made sustained and exceptional contributions to the division. Recipients of this award are expected to have made a prolonged contribution in terms of both scholarly content and service to the division.
