Geography colloquium Nov. 11 explores the use of GIS to examine land-use constraints in a small town
Shakil Bin Kashem, assistant professor of landscape architecture and regional & community planning at Kansas State University, will present "Housing choice, life events, and land-use constraints in a small town: A space-time GIS approach" at 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11, in 1019 Seaton Hall.
Kashem's talk is part of the department of geography and geospatial science's visiting scholar series and is sponsored by the Beta Psi Chapter of Gamma Theta Upsilon, the international geographic honor society and the department of geography and geospatial sciences.
