KAWSE announces Postdoctoral Research Travel Funds 2023 Award recipient
Raiya Ebini, postdoctoral researcher in the physics department, has been awarded the K-State Office for the Advancement of Women in Science and Engineering, or KAWSE, Postdoctoral Researcher Travel Fund Award for the 2023 academic year.
The purpose of the award is to enhance the postdoctoral researcher experience and enrich the lives of women in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, or STEM, disciplines. The awardee receives up to $500 to attend a conference in their area of research.
Ebini will attend the 13th United States National Combustion Meeting in March 2023 and offer a KAWSE Career Chat for undergraduate and graduate students in STEM about the research networking experience at academic conferences.
