Update regarding vice president for communications and marketing search
Submitted by VPCM search committee
After an extensive national search and careful consideration, the search committee for K-State's next vice president for communications and marketing made the recommendation to pause the search until the beginning of 2023, and the recommendation was accepted by President Richard Linton.
Ashley Martin has agreed to remain as interim vice president for communications and marketing while the university resumes the search in the new year.
Marshall Stewart, recently announced as senior vice president for executive affairs, university engagement and partnerships and chief of staff — and direct supervisor of the vice president for communications and marketing — will work to ensure that K-State finds the right person to assume this critical institutional role. He will assess the Division of Communications and Marketing to make sure its needs are met and determine the structure to ensure future success in this critical institutional area.
The university community will be updated with additional information once the search resumes in 2023.
