Call for nominations for 2023 Davids-Dunham Award
The College of Arts and Sciences Diversity Committee invites nominations of faculty members for the 2023 Davids-Dunham Award.
The award supports research, writing, teaching and professional development. The Davids-Dunham Award celebrates faculty members who identify with underrepresented groups for their excellence in scholarship and faculty members who support diversity at Kansas State University through their scholastic efforts.
Anyone may nominate faculty they think are deserving of this award. The nomination form may be found online. Space is provided for optional statements of support. Self-nominations are accepted. The award will be given preferentially to junior faculty on the path to tenure, although mid-career faculty are welcome to be nominated.
Review of nominations will begin on March 1 and will continue until the award is given. Nominations after this date are still welcome.
Note: The Davids-Dunham Award is named for Sharice Davids and Ann Dunham. These individuals represent Kansas, have contributed to a discipline in the College of Arts and Sciences and have made tremendous contributions to our society. Their work embodies the spirit of the candidates who win this award.
