International Women's Day Celebration student organization sign up
The College of Business Administration's Women in Business Initiative will host an International Women's Day Celebration on Wednesday, March 8. Any women or minority-led campus or community organizations are invited to participate and embrace equity. The event will take place in the Business Building atrium from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Each organization will be provided a table where they will have the opportunity to showcase how to get involved, host an activity, speak about how their organization strives to embrace equity and network with fellow students and staff members.
Marked annually on March 8, International Women's Day is a day to:
- Celebrate women's achievements.
- Raise awareness about women's equality.
- Lobby for accelerated gender parity.
- Fundraise for female-focused charities.
Attached below is a link to a Google Form where student organizations can indicate if they would like to reserve/host a table and what type of activity they would like to host.
This will be an opportunity for your organization to increase involvement, network with members across K-State, participate in an international movement to spread awareness about gender bias and demonstrate how you plan to work toward a better future.
