Submitted by Ignacio Ciampitti
The Digital Ag and Advanced Analytics team invites the K-State community for the next research showcase and hands-on workshop from 3-5 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, in 3014A Seaton Hall.
Spaces are limited for the in-person option, but Zoom is provided.
Registration is required using your K-State email address.
Abstract: Join us for a two-hour hands-on workshop introducing the K-State GIScience Virtual Collaboratory, K-State’s ArcGIS Online GIS Portal, and the ArcGIS StoryMaps platform. Learn how to find and download Esri GIS software, create and use a university GIS portal account, and license your ArcGIS Pro desktop GIS software. Also, explore digital storytelling by constructing an ArcGIS StoryMap — with an agricultural focus — and then share work with others … all without coding or access to dedicated web servers or enterprise GIS systems. The workshop will be led by Shawn Hutchinson of the geography and geospatial sciences department.
All K-State participants are welcome, no GIS experience required.
