Learn about public health scholarships at Health Professions Expo
Future public health practitioners interested in learning about scholarships that may cover up to the equivalent of Kansas resident full tuition and course fees for a Master of Public Health or a public health graduate certificate should visit with the Master of Public Health program on Feb. 28 at the Health Professions Expo in the K-State Student Union.
The program will offer scholarships for tuition, supplies and travel for part-time and full-time students in the Master of Public Health program. Students pursuing a public health graduate certificate and in accelerated degree paths such as the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine/Master of Public Health degree program and bachelor's degree/Master of Public Health program are also eligible.
Recruitment for students wishing to enroll in the program and be eligible for scholarships starting in summer or fall 2023 is currently taking place. Applications are due by March 24 with interviews to be scheduled on April 18. Current K-State students are encouraged to apply.
Students must apply and be accepted into the K-State Master of Public Health program to be eligible for these scholarships. Minimum eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency, a 3.0 GPA, a current or future career in public health, currently living or working in Kansas, or planning to relocate to Kansas to attend K-State.
