Advisor Forum presents March Charlie Award
The K-State Advisor Forum is excited to announce that Victoria “Tori” Surdu, academic advisor in the College of Business Administration, has been selected for the March Charlie award.
Tori was nominated for this award by her colleague, Danielle Fischer, because of her “positive attitude and energy.”
Fischer wrote, “Tori is a wonderful team player and has added such value to the College of Business Administration advising team. Tori advises hundreds of students every semester and takes the time to get to know every student while making sure that the students have a clear plan for their time at K-State. In addition to advising, Tori also oversees our Advising Assistants and has revamped the program to make it a better process for everyone involved. She is consistently going above and beyond to help her colleagues and students.”
The forum thanks Surdu for her work and congratulates her on this award.
For more information on the Charlie Award or to learn how to nominate someone, please visit the Recognition page on the Office of Student Success website. Nominations are accepted year-round and can be received from anyone across campus. Once a nomination is received, it remains active for one full year. One award will be given out at the beginning of each month. The Advisor Forum committee will make the decision and deliver awards.
