Position announcement: Internal search for director of international research and faculty collaborations
The office of international programs is conducting an internal search seeking qualified applicants for director of international research and faculty collaborations. This position reports to the associate provost for international programs, with a 12-month 0.7 minimum appointment. The successful candidate will have the option of maintaining a maximum 0.3 appointment in their home department.
The director of international research and faculty collaborations will maximize faculty international opportunities to include interdisciplinary international research and grant elements; seek new opportunities for faculty international activities; track and document international activity at the faculty level to include international travel, conferences and sabbaticals; and move forward the faculty component of the KSU 2025 Internationalization Strategic Plan.
Required qualifications: Doctorate or comparable terminal degree, with internationally related work experience or experience conducting research in international contexts.
Preferred qualifications: Tenured or tenure-track individual.
Salary is commensurate with rank and credentials.
