Economics professor, student win prize for best paper in antitrust economics
Philip G. Gayle, associate professor of economics, and Huubinh B. Le, doctoral student in economics, were awarded the Robert F. Lanzillotti Prize for Best Paper in Antitrust Economics at the 11th annual International Industrial Organization Conference, or IIOC, May 17-19 in Boston. The research paper is "Measuring Merger Cost Effects: Evidence from a Dynamic Structural Econometric Model."
