Dance lessons today for International Week
Relieve some stress, have fun and learn something new from different countries during the International Week dance lessons from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, in the K-State Student Union courtyard.
This year's dance lessons will feature dance routines from six countries:
- Sri Lanka — Pan Vile Sokari.
- Pakistan — Ho Jamalo a Sindhi Cultural song and dance.
- Japan — Yocchore.
- Uzbekistan — Andijon polkasi.
- Laos — Bud Sa Lop.
- India — Bollywood dance.
Meet the dance instructors, have fun and learn a new dance routine. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
This year's International Week dance lessons are sponsored by the Dow Center for Multicultural and Community Studies in partnership with International Buddies.
International Week is a series of multicultural events that allow students and residents of the Manhattan community to showcase their diverse cultures. Students, faculty or members of the Manhattan community who attend all six of the events could win a prize.
