Director of Fraternity and Sorority Life search
Submitted by Derek Alan Jackson
A committee made up of fraternity and sorority members, alumni and university staff has begun the search for the director of Fraternity and Sorority Life. With the university's work to recognize and support student organizations, the Fraternity and Sorority Life office will once again become a department in the Division of Student Life.
The university has engaged the search firm of Spelman Johnson to help support the search efforts. The director of Fraternity and Sorority Life advocates for and oversees the activities of the Interfraternity and Panhellenic Councils. The director will work to develop, implement and assess programs and policies supporting leadership development, academic excellence, civic engagement and social justice. The director will provide oversight for the Fraternity and Sorority Life office and serves as the primary contact person for the Fraternity and Sorority Life community.
The successful candidate will have the unique opportunity to rebuild the Fraternity and Sorority Life office and establish roles and responsibilities for the staff in the office. They will partner with other university departments to support the Fraternity and Sorority Life community and university strategic plan moving forward.
Review of applications will begin on April 10 and continue until the position is filled. Application materials should be submitted using the search firm's candidate portal.
