The secrets of K-State Libraries, revealed
If you've never been to Hale Library, you might be wondering what it has to offer beyond looking like a castle.
Maybe you need scholarly articles for a research paper. Perhaps your laptop isn't working today, and you have a quiz due at 5 p.m. Need a textbook to study for your final exam? Want to record a song or learn to sew?
Don't know who or where to ask for help for questions like these? Stop by the K-State Student Union Courtyard between 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday, April 3, for the browsing fair.
Members of the K-State Libraries Student Ambassadors will share tips on the ways they use the library to save money, complete assignments, study and even relax and look at art. Library employees will answer your questions, including, "What's so special about the collections on Hale's fifth floor?" and "How do I avoid paying a ton of money for a research article?" You can also drop by for snacks and swag, while supplies last.
Already a library afficionado? Tell us what you value most. Ask us the questions that you've been secretly wondering, and learn how you can become an ambassador, too.
