Spring 2023 Engineering A Dream Flier

The K-State National Society of Black Engineers will host Engineering a Dream from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 22, at the K-State Engineering Complex, 1701B Platt St. in Manhattan. Check-in is from 9-9:30 a.m. in the Rathbone Hall Atrium at the Carl R. Ice College of Engineering.

Engineering a Dream is a day camp to inspire middle school students to pursue futures in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Registration is $5, and scholarships are available. All materials, a morning snack and lunch are provided.

The event is intended for middle school students in grades 6-8 — especially multicultural students — either as individuals, classroom groups, church groups or similar organizations.

Attendees will be chaperoned at all times during their stay on campus by K-State undergraduate and graduate students who will serve as their mentors.

Register for the event online.
