Accounting professor receives best conference paper award
Amy Hageman, assistant professor of accounting, received the Best Conference Paper at the Academy of International Business Southeast meeting in Orlando, Fla.
Hageman's paper, "The Impact of Corruption on Firm Tax Compliance in Transition Economies: Whom Do You Trust?", and was co-authored with Anna Alon of Rollins College.
Hageman teaches taxation in the College of Business Administration.
