Shakespeare Camp for high school students offered June 26-30
Submitted by School of Music, Theatre, and Dance
The K-State theatre program will host Shakespeare Camp for high school students June 26-30. This is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of Shakespeare and experience working with a professional theatre director.
Under the guidance of David Mackay, associate professor and associate director of the theatre program, participants will have the chance to study and prepare for a redux production of "A Midsummer Night's Dream." This production will challenge and inspire you, and you will be able to put your own stamp on one of the greatest plays in history.
You'll also get to participate in various extracurricular activities and study sessions on campus and around Manhattan. Camp participants will stay at Wefald residence hall.
No prior knowledge of Shakespeare is required, just a passion for theatre and a willingness to learn. This is an opportunity to improve your skills and work with like-minded individuals who share your love for the stage.
Don't miss out on this opportunity to experience the magic of Shakespeare in the heart of Kansas. Spaces are limited, so sign up today.
