Larson to present at national animal health conference

Submitted by Beth Jones

Haley Larson, Ph.D., teaching assistant professor of animal health at Kansas State University Olathe, is giving an invited presentation at the Animal Health, Nutrition and Technology Innovation USA conference in Boston on June 14.

The conference is a national networking event that provides animal health professionals with new solutions in the treatment of animals. The three-day conference also provides guidance on current trends in the animal health, nutrition and technical industries.

Larson will be presenting a roundtable on the importance of regulatory knowledge at all levels in a company. Her discussion will include information on ways to identify barriers in the animal health industry as well as potential solutions to those barriers.

As a teaching assistant professor with an industry background, Larson brings a unique perspective to her presentations by ensuring that her work provides listeners with the guidance they need to develop a stronger understanding of animal health while propelling them forward in their developing careers.

"The field of animal health has become incredibly diverse, and there's a need for employees with interdisciplinary styles of thinking," Larson said. Her roundtable will include information for current professionals and leaders in the workplace who are looking for ways to set up their brands for success through regulatory involvement.
