K-State Marching Band to host third annual golf tournament July 18
The K-State Pride of Wildcat Land Marching Band's third annual Marching Pride Scholars Golf Tournament will be played at Topeka's Firekeeper Golf Course on Thursday, July 18.
This golf outing is designed as a fundraiser to help the Marching Pride Scholars program. Financial support of this program will help keep the K-State Marching Band cheering for Wildcat victories and Wabashing as one of the biggest and best university marching bands in the land. The band is looking for corporations to advertise and sponsor holes, carts and food for the event.
The tournament is also looking for anyone who is interested in playing golf at this fantastic new course while helping K-State students succeed at the same time. You can sign up with a four-person team, pairs or as an individual.
For more information, sponsorship and golfer registration please contact Frank Tracz, director of bands, at 785-532-3816, or check out the K-State band’s website. Registration and sponsorship forms are available online and all proceeds go toward the Marching Pride Scholarship fund. Sign up your corporation or four-person team today.
See you on July 18.
