Retirement reception Oct. 27 for Cheryl Martin
Parking Services announces the retirement of Cheryl Martin after 37 successful years at Kansas State University. Martin's retirement date is Friday, Oct. 27.
Martin will be honored with a retirement reception from 1-3 p.m. on Oct. 27 in the K-State Student Union's Konza Room. During this time, those who wish to attend can stop by and wish her the best.
Martin has worked in many areas of K-State. She began her career in the Division of Facilities. She spent 21 years in Ag Research and Extension, 14 years in Parking Services and time at Central Mail Services and 4-H. Martin served as a classified senator for four conservative terms.
Martin is the kind of person who everyone knows, and she is always helping students, parents, visitors and other colleagues with a smile and waving of hand.
The event is open to the campus community, and refreshments will be provided.
