K-State Australian Fulbright applications due soon
The Aug. 12 application deadline for Australian academics who want to come to Kansas State University in the 2014-2015 academic year is rapidly approaching. K-State faculty who would like to host one of these Fulbright scholars should be sure to provide their Australian colleague with the required invitation letter well before the deadline to ensure that it can is uploaded to the Fulbright system in a timely manner.
K-State has partnered with the Australian-American Fulbright Commission to enable outstanding Australian academics to come to K-State as either a Fulbright Senior Scholar or as a Distinguished Chair in Agriculture and Life Sciences. Fulbright scholars are among the most prestigious awards that can be received by Australian academics. The Fulbright scholars program is part of the 2025 strategic plan in both international activities and research. The Senior Scholar position is open for any academic area at K-State.
