Yum presents 'Individual and Cultural Indicators of Social Integration in East Northeast Asia in the Global Digital Age'
Young-ok Yum, associate professor of communication studies in the College of Arts and Sciences, delivered the presentation "Individual and Cultural Indicators of Social Integration in East Northeast Asia in the Global Digital Age: A Communication Perspective" on July 19 at the first Expert Group Meeting hosted by the East North-East Asia Office of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific.
The two-day meeting was at the group's new headquarters in I-Tower in Incheon, South Korea, for the purpose of "Measuring Regional Integration in East and North-East Asia" and invited scholars and practitioners from academia, intergovernmental agencies and international organizations.
