Three-day International Film Festival starts tonight

The three-day International Film Festival, hosted by the Wildcat Film Appreciation Society in association with the K-State's International Education Week 2023, starts today, Nov. 15, and ends on Friday, Nov. 17.
Each day features a film from a different part of the world representing various countries, languages and cultures. The film screenings will be followed by open discussions on the film to discuss the cultural significance of those films. This event is co-sponsored by the Dow Center for Multicultural and Community Studies. Entry is free, and all are welcome.
The following is the festival schedule:
- Wednesday, Nov. 15, 8-10 p.m. — "Embrace of the Serpent (2015)" Colombia/Venezuela/Argentina. Venue: Forum Hall at the K-State Student Union on the ground floor. RSVP online.
- Thursday, Nov. 16, 8-10 p.m. — "Close-Up (1990)" Iran. Venue: Big 12 Room in the K-State Student Union on the second floor. RSVP online.
- Friday, Nov. 17, 8-10 p.m. — "EO (2022)" Poland. Venue: Forum Hall at the K-State Student Union on the ground floor. RSVP online.
