She was formerly a financial aid advisor in her early tenure, where she consistently put students first to help them reach their educational goals. She was promoted to her current position in 1995 serving as a federal programs administrator over the multimillion-dollar Federal Direct Loan and Federal Pell Grant programs.
She has received the University Support Staff Employee of the Year Award two times while working for the Office of Student Financial Assistance. She is known for her professionalism and positive attitude, her willingness to go above and beyond, and her exceptional customer service. With her depth of knowledge and years of experience, her presence will be greatly missed by all.
