College of Arts and Sciences invites students and professionals to participate in career mentorship program
The College of Arts and Sciences offers a mentorship program for all its undergraduate students. The Arts and Sciences Mentorship Program pairs students with professionals who provide insight and guidance about career preparation and pathways and help students develop their professional networks.
The program serves to mentor students toward career paths that complement their chosen degrees and prepare them for the transition from student to professional. Mentees will network with mentors, ask questions and learn firsthand about their mentors' experiences and what employers in their fields require.
Interested students should sign up by Monday, Jan. 29, to be onboarded in time for the program launch Feb. 5. To sign up, activate your WildcatLink account by signing in with your K-State eID and password, and then request membership in the Arts and Sciences Mentorship Program. While awaiting approval, complete your profile.
Professionals are also needed to serve as mentors. Apply by Jan. 29 by creating a WildcatLink account and requesting membership in the ArtSci Mentorship Program. Once approved, you'll receive email communications through the WildcatLink platform regarding orientation and next steps.
For information, contact the program's coordinator, Zac Malcolm, at malcoz@k-state.edu.
