K-State TRIO Educational Supportive Services welcomes Brooke Raymond
Brooke Raymond joins the TRIO ESS team as the new student services coordinator. She will work directly with program participants to address academic and personal barriers to success.
"We are excited to welcome Brooke Raymond to the Student Belonging and Inclusion team," said Mirta Chavez, assistant vice president of Student Belonging and Inclusion. "Her experience and enthusiasm to assist students will be a great asset to serving K-State students."
Raymond previously worked for K-State One Stop and K-State First as a learning assistant.
"I am very excited to continue my career in higher education as a student services coordinator for TRIO Educational Supportive Services," said Raymond. "I am pursuing a master's degree in adult learning and leadership with a certificate in adult learning, which I plan to complete in December 2024. My passion is helping students find their path and easing their way into adulthood. As a first-generation student, I sympathize with some of the learning curves students have, and I intend to work toward creating a divine atmosphere for students to grow."
