Nomination deadline extended: University Award for Distinguished Undergraduate Student in Research
The deadline for nominations for the University Award for Distinguished Undergraduate Student in Research has been extended to Friday, March 1.
This award has been established to recognize outstanding individual contributions in research for the purpose of the discovery and creation of new knowledge at Kansas State University. The $1,000 award is for an undergraduate student who has demonstrated excellence in research in any field of study. Applicants may be in any field of endeavor offered at K-State. To be eligible the applicant/nominee must be an undergraduate of sophomore status or above and must have been actively engaged in research within the past 12 months prior to the semester of award. The applicant must also be enrolled during the academic year in which the award is given.
