Update to K-State Research Exchange improves user experience
A new update has been made to the K-State Research Exchange, or K-REx, including a new user interface.
Launched in 2004, K-REx serves as a way for users to discover and use work from the K-State community. Works in the repository include graduate students' theses, dissertations and reports; digital collections unique to K-State; and free versions of journal articles, conference presentations and datasets.
This update features a new user interface that enhances the site's visual appeal and improves the user experience. The update also improves the site's responsiveness when used on a mobile device.
"It's important that K-REx's design be consistently improved so that users can use the site as intended," said Ryan Otto, digital scholarship librarian. "The repository offers a powerful way to increase the university's reach and contributes to K-State's mission as a next-generation land-grant university."
If you have any questions about the new update or how to use K-REx, please contact Ryan Otto at rwotto@k-state.edu.
