Agricultural economics hosts retirement reception for Terry Teske
Please join the agricultural economics department as we host a retirement reception for Terry Teske, computer/system specialist for the agricultural economics department and College of Agriculture. The reception will be from 3-5 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, at JP's Sports Grill at Jardine Apartments. Refreshments will be served.
Teske is retiring after more than 41 years of service to the university on March 30.
Teske worked in the College of Veterinary Medicine in 1982, and in 1994 he came to the department of agricultural economics as the computer/systems specialist until his retirement. His knowledge and expertise helped the department move forward in many ways throughout those years.
He has been an outstanding contributor to the department. Teske's various duties including both hardware and software. He was instrumental in solving IT issues for individual faculty along with designing, obtaining and managing IT equipment for the departmental conference room. Teske was passionate about the department and would often take that extra step that benefited not only the department of agricultural economics but the College of Agriculture as well.
