Reminder: Register for Summer Advising Institute
The 2024 Summer Advising Institute will be from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, in the K-State Student Union. Registration for the event closes at 5 p.m. Monday, May 6.
Advising institutes provide an opportunity for professional development focusing on academic success at K-State and connection within the advising community. Mike Finnegan will present this year’s keynote, "Strengths, Well-being, and Student Success."
Other presentation topics include campus partner information sessions, supporting prospective transfer students, reframing imposter syndrome and technology in supporting career readiness. Breakfast and lunch are also provided. A complete agenda with session descriptions, room locations and Zoom information will be sent to all registrants prior to the event.
