Submitted by Communications and Marketing
Kansas State University's second Brand Day will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, in the K-State Student Union. All faculty, staff, students, alumni and friends are welcome to attend this free event, and no advanced registration is required.
Concurrent sessions throughout the day will provide information on communications and marketing resources available to the university community. Topics will include branding, media exposure, printing, Web calendars and tracking, photography, marketing strategies, trademark licensing, social media, campus communications and video.
"This is a great opportunity to share where we’ve been, where we are currently and where we're going as we continue to build the university's already strong brand," said Steve Logback, assistant vice president for communications and marketing. "We look forward to collaborative sessions as we all work together to further unify K-State's brand voice and discuss strategies for the future."
Licensed vendors and representatives of University Printing will be in the K-State Student Union Main Ballroom from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to provide information on products and services offered. Web services staff also will be available in the West Ballroom throughout the day to answer questions regarding the content management system, analytics and other Web topics.
