K-State public health research and implementation website adopted by the National Cancer Institute
Submitted by David Dzewaltowski
A public health research and implementation website that originated at Kansas State University has been adopted by the National Cancer Institute.
David Dzewaltowski, professor and department head of kinesiology, was a member of a national team of collaborators funded by the National Institutes of Health to conduct research on how to improve the sustainable adoption and implementation of effective, generalizable evidence-based public health interventions. Funding from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation helped Dzewaltowski and collaborators to develop and host a website to inform public health research and practice. The RE-AIM Framework and website is now part of the Division of Cancer Control and Population Science at the National Cancer Institute and efforts to integrate evidence into research, practice and policy.
K-State is acknowledged as the original host of the website.
