Student Governing Association elections filing now open

Submitted by Brandon Kirmer

As the official voice of students at K-State, Student Governing Association would not be what it is without elections. SGA elections every spring semester allow all Wildcats to cast their vote toward whom they want to represent them in the following year. SGA plays a crucial role in your campus experience so making your voice heard is important.

Don't miss out on the opportunity to make your voice heard, whether it be casting your vote or running for office yourself.

The filing form this year opened on Jan. 21, and deadline to file for student body president and vice president is 11:59 p.m. Feb. 11. The deadline to file for all other positions — student senator, Union Governing Board, Collegian Media Group Student Advisory Committee — is 11:59 p.m. on Feb. 25. The 2025 SGA election will take place from 8 a.m. on March 4 to 11:59 p.m. on March 5.
