Letter from Dean Bosco: Make good decisions this weekend and every weekend
Dear K-State Students,
As we approach Fake Patty's Day this weekend, I want to encourage you to have a good time, but make good decisions in the process.
- If you're going to drink, do so as safely as possible by following these safer drinking tips from counseling services.
- Stay together in groups and watch out for your fellow K-Staters.
- Take advantage of SafeRide — beginning noon Saturday and running to 3 a.m. Sunday — or Wildcat Walk if you're going on campus.
Don't forget that you have the option to go to Aggieville, wear the T-shirt and enjoy the fun atmosphere without drinking; the choice is yours.
I hope you realize that your K-State family is always behind you to help you make healthy decisions and to encourage you to respect yourself and others — not just around Fake Patty's Day, but all the time, throughout the whole year.
Stay safe this weekend.
