Letter from President Schulz: Keep up K-State's reputation for great community relations this weekend
Dear K-State Students,
As many of you celebrate Fake Patty's Day this Saturday, please know that your safety is most important. Kansas State University, along with our partners — the city of Manhattan, the Riley County Police Department and local business owners — want you to take care of yourselves and others.
Know that all laws will be enforced.
Dean Bosco shared some tips and links earlier this week about celebrating safely. In addition to that, I would like to remind you that although Manhattan is a college town, it is still a community we share.
I am proud of K-State's No. 2 ranking for great campus and community relations. Help your university maintain this outstanding reputation by showing respect to one another and your community; reports to police during Fake Patty's Day are most often about noise and parking.
Thank you, and be careful, 'Cats!
Kirk Schulz
President
