Participants needed for research study
Do you want to make some extra money before the holidays? Then participate in a psychology study!
Before participating in this study, participants will take a brief cognitive assessment test. Afterward, you will view photos of real-world scenes while your eyes are tracked using an eye tracker. Meanwhile, you also will be performing a visual discrimination task.
You will be paid $5 per hour for four one-and-half-hour sessions over four days. At the end of the experiment, you will receive a bonus of $5 for every hour that you participated. For example, if you participate for a total of six hours, you will receive $5 after each hour for a total of $30. At the end of the six hours, you also will receive an additional bonus doubling your money — making up to $60.
Because this study investigates multitasking ability, we want our participants to be well-rested and not under the influence of alcohol or drugs during the experimental sessions. Also, we ask that prospective participants with visual impairments wear contact lenses, not glasses, and please refrain from wearing heavy eye makeup as this can interfere with the eye tracker. This study is limited to 20 participants, so sign up soon.
