Travel award, seed grant funding Q-and-A at 3 p.m. Feb. 11
A question-and-answer session for the Faculty Development Award, or FDA, and University Small Research Grant, or USRG, programs will be at 3:30 p.m. Feb. 11.
If you are interested in attending, please send an email to the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs at orsp@k-state.edu. A confirmation email will include the room location.
Faculty Development Awards provide faculty support for travel to international meetings to present scholarly activity as well as to meet with program officers of potential external sponsors. The University Small Research Grant program is a seed grant program to support early research, scholarly activity and other creative efforts.
The Q-and-A session will assist faculty members in preparing applications and will address topics such as what to include in an application; to which program to apply; how to prepare a budget and associated justification; what to include in a biosketch and how the review process is conducted.
Proposals for both funding opportunities are due by 5 p.m. March 2.
