Submitted by Slawomir Dobrzanski
Are you interested in taking an unforgettable musical journey through the heart of beautiful Germany and exotic Poland? If yes, then this is your last chance to sign up.
Friday, Feb. 20, is the last date to register for A Musical Journey Through Germany and Poland. This two-week study abroad tour takes place June 14-28. No foreign language knowledge required; the tour is conducted entirely in English.
This study abroad tour offered by K-State is open to all. Everyone is welcome, including undergraduate and graduate students, faculty and community members from across Manhattan and beyond. Those who need K-State credits can earn three undergraduate/graduate credits.
Our itinerary showcases world-famous cultural sites related to the greatest European composers such as Chopin, Schumann, Liszt, Bach, Mendelssohn, Haendel and Wagner. You also will get enough time to explore an amazing set of European cities and towns — such as Berlin, Leipzig and Warsaw — on your own, if you feel up to it.
This study abroad tour will be led by Slawomir Dobrzanski, associate professor of music. Dobrzanski, who was born and raised in Europe, has consistently received excellent evaluation scores from K-State students since 2005.
