Volunteer for eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy research
Marriage and family therapy program researchers are looking for participants with symptoms of depression who are interested in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy.
Those who meet the criteria for the study will be invited to five consecutive weeks of therapy sessions of two sessions a week. Brain activity will be monitored through an electroencephalograph, or EEG, cap during these sessions at K-State's Family Center, College of Human Ecology, in Campus Creek Complex.
Participants will receive therapy at no cost and $30 at the one-month follow-up session. Eligible participants will be randomly assigned to either a treatment or wait list group. If interested contact Zenova Williams at zwilliams@k-state.edu.
