Engineering professor addresses renewable energy expansion at events in Korea
Anil Pahwa, Kansas State University professor of electrical and computer engineering, conducted a workshop supported by the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation, or APEC, Nov. 10-11 in Daegu, South Korea, on "Experiences and Plans to Double Renewable Energy Utilization by 2030 in the APEC Region."
Following the workshop, he also gave an invited plenary presentation, "The Challenge of Doubling Renewable Energy in the APEC Region by 2030," at the International Solar Energy Society Solar World Congress Nov. 12 in Daegu.
Pahwa's areas of research expertise include smart grid, renewable energy, distribution automation, distribution system planning and analysis.
