Featuring more than 30 employers, the Sales Week Career Fair will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 22, in the K-State Alumni Center Ballroom. An National Strategic Selling Institute Corporate Partner Networking event will be that night from 5:30–7:30 p.m. in the Alumni Center Barrett Wildcat Den. It will allow students to expand their network and learn more about the hiring process from the partner recruiting firms.
Throughout the day Monday, Feb. 22, there will be eight professional development workshops hosted by National Strategic Selling Insitute business partners. Six additional workshops will be Tuesday, Feb. 23. All workshops will be in the K-State Alumni Center's Powercat and Jordan Rooms on Monday, and Purple Pride Conference Room on Tuesday. Seating at these workshops is limited to 12 students, and seats will be offered on a reservation basis. Students will have the chance to put their selling skills to the test in a role-playing scenario as a Textron Aviation sales representative during the Textron Sales Competition Tuesday, Feb. 23. Students can sign up for the competition and register for a 15-minute time slot.
A Sales Week keynote speech will be delivered by Lee Salz, Sales Architects, from 10:30–11:20 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, in the K-State Alumni Center Tadtman Boardroom. Wrapping up the week's activities will be a National Strategic Selling Institute sales certificate information session from 5:15–6:15 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, in 101 Thompson Hall.
