Learn to skydive: K-State Parachute Club offers first jump class March 11-12

Join the K-State Parachute Club's 52nd season of skydiving. The club's first training session of the semester will be at 6 p.m. Friday, March 11, in Room 203 of the K-State Student Union. Training continues at 8 a.m. Saturday, March 12, at the Abilene Municipal Airport.
The course will teach you everything you need to know to confidently exit the airplane, pilot your canopy and ensure a soft landing. The cost for the course is $170 and includes more than six hours of training, gear rental and your first jump. Subsequent training jumps average about $45, and in as few as 25 jumps, you can become a licensed skydiver.
