Delta Sigma Theta sorority celebrating May Week
Join Delta Sigma Theta sorority, an official student organization, in celebrating May Week. May Week is a national program of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. that was created in 1920 to highlight academic and professional achievements and emphasize the importance of higher education in the community, especially for black women.
- Going the DSTance will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, in the Quad. Join the Deltas as we get physically fit. An obstacle course will be set up in the Waters Hall Quad with various physical and mental challenges. Teams of five people can participate. Use the hashtag #GoingTheDSTance to follow the challenge.
- "Picturing the Future — Are We At War?" will be at Thursday, May 5, in the K-State Student Union's K and S Ballrooms. An art gallery will portray social injustices. We also will have spoken word and dance performances. Interact on social media using the hashtag #AreWeAtWar.
